I’ll go with both, for not a penny over $650.

I wonder how this thing handles a nice cross wind gust

Cheap fun with the added spice of possible random parts failure, IN THE AIR!

Looks like it depends how wide your head is. I want to know what would break first: the blades or errant arms/legs/wildlife/trees

I’d find someone that’s qualified to inspect the parachute before even asking to hear the engine run. If that checks out it could actually be fun.
Worst case scenario the engine dies and you gently float down into a tree where you’re trapped for days because there’s no cell signal. That is unless you live in bear country. If that’s the case you could be stuck in the tree for days because there’s no cell signal while in mauling range of a bear. Have fun!
I think this could be a really fun way to float above the sheep.

I mean it didn’t kill Clown Shoe Pilot despite his best attempt:
Big wing + big motor = flying fat man

I figure with those things, if it goes wrong, you’re in a roll cage and also already using the thing you’d want to use if your plane went wrong. So basically, go for it.
The only thing that concerns me is ... isn’t it a powered “paraglider?” Not parachute? Important difference that the owner of one of these should know.

I’m going to go with a cheap way to die with a smile on your face.

I have mixed feelings about PPGs, especially when I see things like this:
